Created with the idea of a fitted bed sheet in mind, the Carolina Gym Supply Economy Style Platform Mats have all of the features found in Carolina Gym Supply matting, minus the bottom. Employing a system of straps to keep the mat cover nice and tight, you wouldn't know it lacked a bottom until you took a look underneath! This saves you, the customer, a fair bit of cash without sacrificing quality.

Keeping with the "economy-style" descriptor, the Carolina Gym Supply Economy Style Platform Mats provide adequate padding for your athletes with less foam than you'll find in a Competition Landing Mat. The Economy Style Platform Mats use a high-density 2" polyurethane foam and a top layer of 1.25" closed-cell crosslink polyethylene. The base design of your pommel horse or parallel bars is cut out from the 2" foam for easy installation. The crosslink foam is cut to fit the uprights, ensuring a tight fit.

Outside dimensions of the Carolina Gym Supply Economy Style Platform Mats are 12' x 13' (pommel horse) and 14' x 16' (parallel bars). If you need a custom size for your program, please call a member of our sales team to speak about your space requirements.

Depending on the brand and style of your pommel horse or parallel bars, we make the Carolina Gym Supply Economy Style Platform Mats in either one or two sections. If made in two sections, our standard 4" hook and loop fastener will be sewn on for attaching them together.
